Donation of IT equipment to strengthen the capacities of SA "Apă-Canal Strășeni" within a project of national importance.

Today, May 15, 2025, within the project of national importance "Improvement of water infrastructure in Central Moldova", JSC "Apă-Canal Strășeni" received a donation of IT equipment (computers and printers), designed to help improve the administrative and operational performance of the enterprise.

This major project is implemented by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through the Regional Development Agency Centru, with the financial support of the German Federal Government, through the KfW Development Bank, and has a total budget of about 45 million euro.

The project aims to build a main Chisinau-Straseni-Clărași aqueduct and key investments in the water infrastructure in the districts of Straseni and Calarasi, in order to ensure access to a safe and qualitative source of drinking water.

In the first stage, more than 30,000 citizens in the municipalities of Strășeni and Călărași are expected to be connected to the new regional water supply system.

This initiative aims not only to modernize infrastructure, but also to increase the efficiency of public service institutions and to promote an integrated regional model of water resources management.
