How can I conclude a contract for water and sewerage services?
Any natural or legal person who is connected to the public water supply and sewerage system can apply for a contract with the operator. Details on the types of contracts are available in the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the water and sewerage services in Straseni.
What types of contracts can be concluded with the operator?
There are three types of contract:
- Water supply and sewerage service contract.
- Water service supply contract (drinking and/or technological).
- Contract for the provision of sewerage service (or for wastewater treatment only).
What happens if you don't conclude a contract within the deadline?
If you do not conclude the contract within 15 days of obtaining ownership of a property connected to the water and sewerage network, the operator has the right to disconnect the property from the network.
What are the conditions for installing water meters?
The meters shall be installed according to the technical regulations (SM EN ISO 4064-1:2015). The meters shall also be located in accessible places for reading, maintenance and verification and their installation shall comply with the manufacturers' technical specifications.
Where are water meters installed in individual homes?
In the case of individual houses, water meters are installed in the connection meter, which is located at the boundary of the consumer's territory. It is considered as part of the consumer's internal water installations.
How are water meters managed in blocks of flats?
In residential blocks, the common meter shall be installed in the basement of the block and shall provide both the minimum domestic flow and the maximum fire-fighting flow. The type of meter and its characteristics shall be chosen by the operator.
What happens if a meter malfunctions?
Water meters are subject to regular metrological verification. If malfunctions are identified, the operator will repair or replace them in accordance with the legislation in force.
How are company formation documents handled?
The company's incorporation documents include the Certificate of Company Registration and Business License, which are essential for the legal operation of the company.
