Contracting

The legal relations between the Operator and the Consumer of the public water supply and/or sewerage service are regulated by Law no. 303/2013 on the public water supply and sewerage service, the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the public water supply and sewerage service in mun. Strășeni, approved by the decision of the Strășeni Municipal Council No. 10/40 of 09.12.2024, Law No. 1402 of 24-10-2002 on public services of communal household, Law No. 1134 of 02-04-1997 on joint-stock companies.

Any natural or legal person, whose internal water and sewerage installations are connected to the public water supply and sewerage system or who has fulfilled the conditions and works stipulated in the connection/connection notice, is entitled to request the operator to conclude a contract for the provision of public water supply and sewerage service.

Depending on needs, the following types of contracts are concluded:

  1. Contract for the provision of public water supply (drinking and/or technological) and sewerage services. This contract is concluded between the operator and the consumer where the operator will provide both the public water supply service (drinking and/or technological) and the public sewerage service.
  2. Contract for the public water supply service (drinking and/or technological). This contract is concluded between the operator and the consumer where the operator will provide only the public water supply service (drinking and/or technological).
  3. Public sewerage service supply contract. This contract is concluded between the operator and the consumer where the operator will provide only the public sewerage service or only the wastewater treatment service of the consumer.

The natural or legal person, who has obtained the right of ownership of a real estate, which has not been disconnected from the public water supply and sewerage system, is obliged to request the Operator to conclude a contract for the supply/rendering of public water supply and/or sewerage service within 15 days from the date of registration of the right of ownership. If the natural or legal person fails to comply with this provision, the Operator is entitled to disconnect the given place of consumption from the public water supply and/or sewerage network.
